Why would I bring in Northpoint?
Management teams inherently understand their business, but often don't take the time to outline improvement strategies. And plans that are developed are often not followed through. Northpoint can validate which ideas will yield the desired results, and help with a road map for implementation.
If you don't know my business, how can you help me?
Less knowledge can often be an advantage. Maximum objectivity can lead us to see some simple and obvious choices that may have been overlooked by managers too close to the problem. By carefully evaluating your business and applying sound consulting tools, we can be an effective complement to senior management decision-making.

How are client engagements billed?
Arrangements are always made on an agreement basis and can be set in place with these options: daily rate, project basis, or a combination with performance incentives to Northpoint, along with a fee structure.
What does Direction for Revenue Growth mean?
That revenue must be profitable to benefit your company. We aim to improve your revenue generation levels through more efficient spending levels in your "go to market" approach.
How is Northpoint different?
Our firm has advisors that have spent a majority of their time accountable for effective implementation. We develop action plans and strategies that can be successfully executed. NORTHPOINT has experience beyond strategy development to help deliver results.
Where did the Northpoint name come from?
The name represents a direction that is positively upward, that is clear and focused. It is direction that doesnt vacillate or move from side to side to drain your precious time and resources.
How long have you been in business?
Many of our advisors have more than 20 years of experience in a wide range of industries. The firm, Northpoint Advisors, was established in 1995.
Do you provide references?
Yes. We welcome the opportunity to share past and current client contacts. The details of client engagements, however, are kept confidential.
Do you sign nondisclosure agreements?
Yes. Generally this is a requirement in order to proceed with clients.
Does Northpoint Advisors team with other firms?
Yes, and we frequently do. We often work alongside firms such as CPAs, engineering/R&D resources, financial, HR and IT advisors, and marketing communications firms.
What is your key value-added?
One of our key strengths is our ability to assess and improve upon your business model. Without a sustainable model no amount of actions can be effective. Each assignment inevitably includes a review of the existing business model.
Do you provide interim management?
Yes. If a position is open, we can help you select or, in many instances, provide interim talent while you select a replacement. However, if we're working with a client and a senior manager is removed, we will not participate in the replacement strategy.
Since we work closely with the senior managers in a company, we must gain their trust. If we suggest the release of any of them, we can never be assured of having the working relationships with the other managers we need in order to be effective. |
